English for Building Communication сourse is intended for teaching undergraduate and graduate students with Intermediate and Upper intermediate levels of foreign language proficiency.
Aims:
The primary aim of this course is to develop students' ability to effectively use English in various communication contexts, including academic, business, and social interactions. The course seeks to enhance students' understanding of communication principles, improve their language proficiency, and equip them with the skills necessary to communicate confidently and appropriately in diverse settings.
Objectives:
- To introduce students to the fundamental concepts of communication and its importance in different contexts.
- To develop students' academic communication skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, with a focus on formal and structured language use.
- To enhance business communication skills, such as crafting professional emails, conducting negotiations, and participating in meetings.
- To improve social communication skills, emphasizing cultural awareness, interpersonal interactions, and conversational fluency in English.
- To build students' confidence in using English to express ideas clearly, persuasively, and appropriately in various scenarios.
- To foster critical thinking and adaptability in navigating different communication styles and contexts.
