 Курс Teaching Reading and Writing Skills powered with AI (Pre-Intermediate level) заключается в развитии у студентов навыков чтения и письма в английском языке на уровне A2–B1 с использованием инструментов искусственного интеллекта. Курс направлен на формирование умений понимать тексты на знакомые темы, определять их основную идею, находить необходимую информацию и делать простые выводы. Одновременно развивается письменная речь: студенты учатся создавать короткие, логично организованные тексты, такие как описания, сообщения и простые высказывания с выражением мнения, используя базовую лексику и грамматику.

Особое внимание уделяется интеграции AI в процесс обучения: студенты осваивают навыки составления простых запросов, используют AI для генерации идей, проверки и улучшения текстов, а также учатся критически оценивать полученные результаты. Курс также способствует развитию учебной автономии, поощряя самостоятельную практику, самокоррекцию и более уверенное использование английского языка в письменной коммуникации. Курс состоит из 5 модулей:

Модуль 1- Foundations of Reading and Writing - развить базовые навыки чтения и письма, включая понимание основной идеи и написание простых предложений.

Модуль 2: Developing Reading Strategies - улучшить понимание прочитанного с помощью таких стратегий, как ознакомительное и поисковое чтение, а также умение находить ключевую информацию.

Модуль 3: Functional Reading and Writing - сформировать практические навыки чтения и письма повседневных текстов, таких как электронные письма, сообщения и инструкции.

Модуль 4: Functional Writing and Digital Communication- развить умение писать понятные сообщения и эффективно общаться в цифровой среде.

Модуль 5: Integrated Reading and Writing Skills развить навыки чтения и письма различных типов текстов, таких как описательные, повествовательные и тексты с выражением мнения.

По завершении курса Teaching Reading and Writing Skills powered with AI (Pre-Intermediate level) студенты смогут уверенно понимать и обрабатывать аутентичные и адаптированные тексты на знакомые темы, включая повседневную жизнь, обучение и базовые социальные ситуации. Они будут способны определять основную идею текста, находить конкретную информацию и понимать детали, а также делать простые выводы на основе прочитанного. Развитие навыков чтения будет сопровождаться расширением словарного запаса, при этом студенты научатся догадываться о значении незнакомых слов из контекста и использовать цифровые инструменты, включая AI, для уточнения и закрепления лексики.

В области письменной речи студенты смогут создавать связные и логически организованные тексты объемом примерно 80–150 слов. Они научатся писать короткие сообщения, описания людей, мест и повседневных действий, а также простые повествовательные тексты и выражать свое мнение по знакомым темам. Особое внимание будет уделяться структуре текста, включая использование элементарных средств логической связи (например, and, but, because, so), а также базовым грамматическим конструкциям, соответствующим уровню A2–B1.

The course Teaching Reading and Writing Skills powered with AI (Pre-Intermediate Level) is aimed at developing students’ reading and writing skills in English at the A2–B1 level through the use of Artificial Intelligence tools. The course focuses on helping learners understand texts on familiar topics, identify the main idea, locate specific information, and make simple inferences. At the same time, students develop writing skills by learning to create short, logically organized texts such as descriptions, messages, and simple opinion statements using basic vocabulary and grammar.

Special attention is given to the integration of AI into the learning process. Students learn how to create simple prompts, use AI for generating ideas, checking and improving texts, and critically evaluating AI-generated results. The course also promotes learner autonomy by encouraging independent practice, self-correction, and more confident use of English in written communication.

This course consists of five modules:

Module 1: Foundations of Reading and Writing – develops basic reading and writing skills, including understanding the main idea and writing simple sentences.

Module 2: Developing Reading Strategies – improves reading comprehension through strategies such as skimming, scanning, and identifying key information.

Module 3: Functional Reading and Writing – develops practical skills for reading and writing everyday texts such as emails, messages, and instructions.

Module 4: Functional Writing and Digital Communication – develops the ability to write clear messages and communicate effectively in digital environments.

Module 5: Integrated Reading and Writing Skills – develops reading and writing skills for different types of texts, including descriptive, narrative, and opinion texts.

After completing of the course Teaching Reading and Writing Skills powered with AI (Pre-Intermediate Level), students will be able to confidently understand and process authentic and adapted texts on familiar topics, including everyday life, education, and basic social situations. They will be able to identify the main idea of a text, locate specific information, understand details, and make simple inferences based on what they read. The development of reading skills will be accompanied by vocabulary expansion, as students learn to guess the meaning of unfamiliar words from context and use digital tools, including AI, to clarify and reinforce vocabulary.

In the area of writing, students will be able to produce coherent and logically organized texts of approximately 80–150 words. They will learn to write short messages, descriptions of people, places, and everyday activities, as well as simple narrative texts and opinion statements on familiar topics. Special attention will be given to text organization, including the use of basic linking devices such as and, but, because, and so, as well as fundamental grammatical structures appropriate for the A2–B1 level.
