The course introduces modern translation technologies, including machine translation and CAT tools. It covers key aspects of using software that accelerates the translation process and enhances its accuracy and consistency. Various types of machine translation are explored, along with their integration into real-world translation workflows. Special attention is given to CAT systems such as Trados, MemoQ, and Smartcat, which enable efficient handling of repetitive text, centralized terminology management, and large-scale project coordination. The course is designed to equip students with the skills required to succeed in today’s technology-driven translation industry.
