The discipline "Engineering Entrepreneurship, Marketing and Business Planning" is included in the cycle of basic disciplines, the university component.
This discipline aims to develop students' entrepreneurial thinking and entrepreneurial competencies, to study the theoretical foundations and the categorical and conceptual apparatus of marketing and business planning, allowing you to create your own business, ensure its growth and development, and also form the skills of organizing project and management activities.
The tasks of the discipline are as follows:
- to ensure that students are ready to develop a business idea for a commercially promising product based on a scientific and technical idea;
- to form knowledge and skills in conducting project activities in the field of commercialization of scientific and technical ideas in the direction of professional activity;
- to form competencies for creating your own business, ensuring its efficiency and competitiveness;
- master the knowledge of methods of drawing up a business plan;
- to study the system of marketing information and marketing research;
- to study the basics of the theory of consumer behavior in the markets;
- master the knowledge of the methodological foundations of market segmentation and product positioning;
- study the product policy in the marketing system;
- study pricing systems and pricing strategies;
- to study distribution and distribution systems;
- to study the systems of promotion of goods and services.
By the end of this course, the student is expected to:
1 Finds/generates commercially promising scientific and technical ideas for the purpose of their commercialization;
2 Conducts market research and segmentation in order to identify commercially promising niches for the sale of goods and services;
3 Assesses the efficiency of investments and possible risks of implementation of innovative projects;
4 Develops business models with their subsequent transformation into business plans.
